Julia Wood, owner of Design First, is the adept kitchen and bath planner whose published projects have included a grand prize winning kitchen. Typically described as a "renaissance woman" and daughter of a local surgeon who enjoyed fine things and gourmet cooking. As a result of childhood, a natural interest was born and honed with training from the design department at Salem College. Her professional interests include staying current in all things kitchen and bath, keeping abreast of the latest technology, and attending industry tradeshows. Julia is Design First's principle buyer and loves quality materials.
